3/16-3/17 WINTER STORM DISCUSSION AND OBSERVATIONS

Discussion started by JarydMore17 4 years ago

11:55P UPDATE

Please post your current conditions below. Temperature, dewpoint, and snowfall rates are encouraged.

Let's take a quick look at some short range guidance before I give you my final thoughts.

Current Radar: Dry air is eating precip alive around Philly Metro points N&W. Dewpoints are much higher in southeast Jersey than to the North and West.

The areas under the green are starting to see snow fall or already have accumulations.

Here is the HRRR model which goes out to 15 hours. Shows a genearl 1-3" around Philly and 2-4" just to the southeast. As you get closer to the shore more than 4" is very possible.

My totals:

PHILLY METRO: 1-3"

VINELAND/MILLVILLE TO ACY: 4-7"

BALTIMORE METRO: 3-5"

WASHINGTON DC METRO: 4-7"

NYC METRO: DUSTING

LHV- POCONOS: COATING

POST WHAT'S HAPPENING WHERE YOU ARE...Thanks guys!
