Chicago to Detroit First Snow Winter Season (Blog Written Nov 15)

Discussion started by robweather 2 years ago

Chicago, Northern Illinois, Parts of Northern Indiana, and parts of SW Wisconsin could see the first measurable snow of the season later this week into Saturday morning. The models are coming together for some snow and the new GFS has the potential for 2-4" of snow on grassy areas. Temps look to be in snow range Friday night with a projected low of 28-31 degrees.

MODELS SHOW THE SWATCH OF SNOW BUT WHERE?

NOV 15 ORD MODELS

We are about 5.5 days away from the snow event and this far out the models are pretty close on the track so that could be good news if you want some snow. Air Temps would favor a night snow and the road temps would lag behind for any type of salting and plowing. Here is how we see it right now for Chicago and some other cities...
