A cool down is on tap for the East coast after this weekend. Showers and Thunderstorms will punch thru the east coast leading to cooler and much dryer air for the week next week. Most areas in the northeast and mid atlantc had over 15 days in the 90s in july and a few to start the month of August.
Sunday August 21
A low pressure moves into the east coast causing showers and thunderstorms some may be severe with damaging winds hail and isolated tornadoes esp from NJ PA south thru VA and NC.
Monday August 22
The cold front has cleared the east coast and cooler drier air moves in with temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s with low humidity
Cooler and Dry air stays put with no rain chancs at least till The Weekend of the 27/28.
