Biggest Snowstorm in New York History

The Tug Hill town of Montague in Lewis County New York recorded the unofficial New York State 24-hour snowfall record of 77 inches in January 1997. Hooker (a hamlet in the town of Montague) holds the state record for snowfall in a single season, after accumulating 466.9 inches of snow during the winter of 1976-77
