We have been at this for the last 6 weeks or so where we seem to be going from the deep freeze to the 50s and even the 60s and than back down again. Such is the case right now as we have been below freezing for the last 5 days. That is coming to an end tonight as temperatures are rising. We have the first of 3 weather fronts coming through. The first tonight will pass through by morning and Wednesday looks like we will see some sunshine and highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. A second front comes through Wednesday night with some showers and behind that we will be even warmer Thursday with highs in the 60s. The a cold front comes through Thursday night and down we go on Friday. This is going to set us up for the possibility for some snow later Saturday into Saturday night.
This upper air pattern is not especially cold at least at 18,000 feet. Watch the system in Eastern Canada as it rotates through.
