When the Storm Prediction Center outlines a severe weather outbreak 2 to 3 days in advance it probably is a wise thing to pay attention. We are not going to be impacted by this but a large area of the Ohio & Tennessee Valley west to the Southern Plains will see a widespread outbreak of severe weather Friday night & Saturday.
This severe weather threat is likely to extend into Sunday as well. Strong low pressure is forecast to develop in Southern Plains and very slowly lift northeast.
