I almost wish this happened closer to Sat. so it does'nt have time to screw with us! Great Run stay that way!!!!
The 23rd is 9 days away and the NAO wil be heading neg. -neutral Good timing, can happen!
Looking very interesting around the 23rd!
Yes thats the low that is now around the Texas pan handle and will cut up to the GLakes Tues. Wed. Then hopefully move to 50N.-50W.
The 17th storm must become a 50-50 low (Block) to keep the nx storm cold and close to the coast. If that doesn't happen game over!
I don't get greedy until the day before, 6" is fine. Right now all we need is this forecast to verify the rest of the way. Looking like a white Xmas!
Everyone needs to chill out. It's Dec. 6 I've been around here for 60 years. It rarely snows before Xmas. This yr. there is a good chance for a white Xmas and plenty more snow after that. Patients!
It would be interesting to have my April 9th Phillies game snowed out. I must admit I hope its 60* and clear with no wind. I love snow but baseball...
Thank you right after I asked you I noticed that lower on the page under the long range models. A long way off but with the blocking 50/50 & -NAO...
Where are you finding a CMC model that goes out pass 180 hrs.? I use the Penn State Ewall.
All we really need to do is simply don't respond to any of Charles's post! I've stopped reading his post a long time ago. I vote YES!!!
The 00Z CMC actually is an improvement over the 12z it did go a little north with more snow.
Steven DiMartino has this storm being suppressed south and never liked this storm from the beginning. The 12Z CMC is further south with best snow in...
For all the Mets out there that said the GFS was the right model...well it has taken a big shift north. It appears game on for some Snow!
Philly gonna get hammered! Bernie Rayno said Philly is out of the heavy snow. Philly is to far south and he doesn't believe the storm will dig that...
The odds are like 70% that there will be a storm but the details are still not clear. Most likely we'll have rain turning to heavy snow.
I've noticed that there's a Mid Atlantic section & a Delaware Valley section. Which one is everyone going to use for the Phila. area?
